Whenever I could get away from my tables I ran around taking pictures at the Boise Knife Show last weekend.
It was a lot of fun with really good knife makers and really cool knives. For those of you who were at the show that I missed, my apologies.

I was really tempted to add some text balloons with the people in the photos saying funny stuff but I used some self discipline for once. It wasn't easy.

Hi Mark, great pics . I see you even got one of our bearded bushranger from downunder Bruce Barnet. Just roughly what kind of figures are we talking about for this show eg. how many makers? People threw the door? Just trying to get an idear of the size of it. Every one who goes to it says it is a fun show to do and at some stage I would like to make the trip over and join y'all.

I don't know any of the stats for the show.
For me, I have a lot of fun and sell a lot as well.
Bruce combines coming to the show with spending time with Bruce Bump and Bill Burke.
I was surprised to see him this year. He told me that he would be coming out for Blade and Boise each year.
 
Good shots of the show, knives and table holders Mark. Thanks for getting the show knives too. I like the way they laid all the show knives out just out of reach but we were able to see them all.

Mark Thanks for posting the pictures, I am finally hoping to catch up on my sleep this weekend and I will post some of the pictures my wife took. It was great to meet you. Todd
 
Nice photos. I wanted to make the trip across the state for this show, but life got in the way. I hope to make it there next time.
 
Mark, great pics! Glad to see John win for that silver twill guardless bowie. It's a beauty.:thumbup:
