Lottery winnings = new knife...Nihiser NF

Last week I bought a few scratch tickets on a lark. I never win on these things but this time I got lucky and won a few hundred dollars. I decided to put it towards a knife I’d had my eye on, a Patrick Nihiser NF.

I’d been admiring it on the EDC Knives site for a few weeks. I’d waited too long on some other knives I liked recently and missed out on buying them, so when I cashed in the tickets I decided not to waste any time and ordered the NF right away. Duane at EDC provided his customary excellent service and the knife arrived the other day.

I was really drawn to this one by the lines and the blade shape. Having handled it I can say it is great folder on all counts. Fit & finish are outstanding. Feels very solid. I’d read a good deal of praise for Patrick’s work online and now I know it is more than deserved. He makes an awesome knife.

Great Looking Folder,I've been thinking about picking up one of his Folders too.The blade looks to be about 4 inches.Congrats on the Lottery win,& the Great Knife.

I had my eye on that one--CONGRATULATIONS!!

I have several of his knives and they are very tight with excellent attention to detail.
