Ok guys, we talked about this a few months back and I was finally able to check on a venue for an annual show. The venue is nice and the price is very reasonable, in my opinion. If I can get 12 people to commit to attending a meeting to get this thing organized and off the ground, I'll do what I can to make it happen.
If anybody is interested in attending or being a member, please contact me using the info. listed below in my sigline. I look forward to hearing from all interested parties.

I wish you all my best in getting something started. I have sponsored my own hammer-in/knife show now for the last six years and know that it is a lot of work (pro bono). My best tip to you is to make it a fun weekend for everyone involved. No one knows what sales will be like but if it is enjoyable then the knife makers will want to do it again.

Also try to make it educational for new makers with demos, seminars etc. This will help promote the event in the future.

It's unlikely that the times will ever co-ordinate but I visit your lovely state for a week each spring and should the chance ever arise, I would enjoy attending your event.

Thanks for the tips and encouragement Gary. If we ever get it going we'd love to have you here. Also, you're always welcome for a visit if you're route brings you close enough during your travels.
