Fresh back from helping out with a Combat Tracking and Survival class in Louisiana. The weather was foul when we were doing the survival portion of the class, but it just added to the whole experience! We went bare bones survival. Just the 5 C’s (cutting tool, combustible (firestarter), container, cover, cordage) were allowed. We took all phones and watches away to make the night draw out with no idea of when it would end.

Looks like an awesome class ... something all of us should take part of at some point.

Very cool. Oh man you need to shave every once in a while Reuben, man you got bugs lol lol. And big ones.

You're right About the weather here lately, it has been miserable.

Good to see that Someone was in the woods

Ok,what the heck is that thing that looks like hatchet with two handles? Not carrying the Cub anymore? Great pics as always. :)

Not sure what you mean.

Yes, I'm carrying the CUB still. For this class I wanted to use the RC-3 since most in the group had it too.

One guy had a small axe/hawk thing, but only one handle.

It's located beneath the pic of the deadfall trap. It may not be two handles, but it was the first thing I thought when I saw the pic. I'm liking the TOPS skandi I have more every day which is why I ask.
