Fresh back from helping out with a Combat Tracking and Survival class in Louisiana. The weather was foul when we were doing the survival portion of the class, but it just added to the whole experience! We went bare bones survival. Just the 5 Cs (cutting tool, combustible (firestarter), container, cover, cordage) were allowed. We took all phones and watches away to make the night draw out with no idea of when it would end.
