several years ago, i gave away my old G-2 stainless delica to purchase a new one. Sadly, i realized that the new one isnt nearly as comfortable as the old. So, ive been looking for an old one. FInally found an older molded clip delica in a pawn shop and bought it. Its plain edged. I was so happy till i realized that the lock wasnt stable... it doesnt hold when you cut stuff. It like continus to rotate open and push the lock open again. anyway, i know if i send it back theyll replace it with a new one. I really want to find an old plain edged one with the molded handle. Does anyone know how i can fix this one or where to find another one in plain edge?

E-mail me and I'll send you a pic of an old Spyderco I have. I'm not a big Spydie person so I'm not sure of the model but it's at least 4 years old and it sounds like the one your describing.

I'm at work now and can't just grab it to look at it.

have never had any luck in pawn shops, some buds always find good deals, but not me - everything i ever find is either junk to begin with, or worn out - just my experience - oh i saw a SW9F i think it was, a smith sigma auto, single stack mag, about same size as the .380 sigma, but in 9MM, for $200 - i didnt know they were semi low production, they made only 1 year, but, by the time i figured out what it was, it was sold, just my luck - that is the only good deal i have ever seen in a pawn shop - i think the employees snag all the good stuff, like guns, knives, etc anyway
