Love at first fondle?

So today I went to the local gun show, cringed at the guy offering "free knife sharpening", and drooled over some ZT's, but the highlight was one booth. They had a CRK Large Sebenza 21 Insingo... And he let me fondle it (which for 14 year old me was kind a big deal) and while I held that knife I envisioned myself selling all of my knives to buy a Sebenza, so what knives did you love as soon as you handled them?

Are you sure it was a real sebenza? Most of the gun and knife shows I attend have too many fakes to take the risk.

I'm fairly sure it was real, they were a medium sized knife shop with lots of Kershaw's and Spyderco's, didn't seem shady at all, I didn't buy it anyways so even if it was fake

Zero Tolerance 0200.
It's still my favorite knife, but it's big and heavy and the clip is really tight so I don't carry it much.

It wasnt a specific model. But I have always have a fondness for knives with enhanced or unique opening methods. My favorites being balisongs, Side opening and OTF automatics. But my new favorite (for like the last 10 years) have been knives with bearings. I always had a thing for switchblades because of their one handed fast opening. But closing side opening autos was a little hard with one hand but doable. Then i got into assisteds but when bearings became popular I got into them and never looked back. Something intrigues me about a knife with absolutely no springs or other forced mechanism that can be operated by one hand to open and closed with the same amount of ease all the while have 0 side to side play and if made properly completely self centering. To me it represents the the absolute best advancement in one hand opening knives ever.

There was a Bark River that I fell in love with based on the handle ergonomics. Didn't buy it though, and have regretted it ever since. :(

Oh agduffy6, you are in the thick of it now! I went through the same thing. Once I got a Sebenza, I started selling off EVERYTHING in order to fund my next expensive knife. I still have that TNK tango small Sebenza, but I did upgrade ti a little:

14? Well, let's see now. Nope, wasn't into knives. I was playing first string on my Junior High football team. Not to say I wasn't interested in fondling but just not knives.

Lionsteel sr1-a, it feels like a folder should and fit my hand perfectly almost possibly the best of any knive so far. She's not pretty and she's simple but damn does she feel good.

Benchmade Adamas for me. It really wasn't my cup of tea until I held one. The handle is absolutely sublime for my mitts. Great in a variety of grips, no obnoxious texturing on the G10 to cause any discomfort, and plenty thick enough for me to bear down on heavier cuts without any hand fatigue.
