I know you probabley know what im talking about when you got your first nice pice of steel. well i got my O1 the other day from http://www.flatground.com/
and i must say once i opened the box i was in love. it is 1" by 1/8" by 36" and it cost me 14.96 for the whole 36". also it is PFG Grade so it has no mill scale or crusty stuff. it looks abslutley beautifual. This is the first time i have ever ordered steel, all the other times i just used what i could find like files. the companey i got my steel from was very nice and quick, is this a good deal for this much O1.

You're too easy.Wait untill you meet a "high class' thing like CPM 154.You'll be in love again.

well im trying to get my hands on some CMP T15 from another maker on this forum, but i dont have the tools yet to deal with such a super steel

I have dealt with them too and you did get a good deal compared to buying from a specialty store which is even more of a middle man. Congratulations graduating to new steel in your making!.. Hope you try 5/32" x 1 1/4" x 36" It gives you a little more wiggle room for your designs, unless you are making slipjoints..then never mind you got the right stuff. Did you get Badger O1 or Precision - Marshall? Nowadays I dream of 154 CM. I have my eye on a bar that's 1/4" x 4" x 72" : $255.00! They can't order me to stop dreaming!:D
I have a bar left from my last order with them: 9/32'' x 1-1/4" x 36" and an end from the first bar like that..You go ,Pal you found out where to get it! Keep making knives!!!!!
