love bm knives- now about this one 835 07/00

I can't find any information about it, anyone have an idea?

Brand new, boxed, everything there including paperwork but no information on knife itself
 
It was the "Knife of the Month" in July of 2000. It has the highly sought after M2HS blade, and Benchmade only did KOTM stuff in the year 2000. It was kind of a special edition of stock knives.
 
Nice knife. Built on the Ascent line and dated "July 2000" with FRN scales and without steel liners the M2 blade is high flat ground. These are prizes, esp. if NIB.
 
As already stated, each of the Knife of the Month knives were built on existing products with some changes.
This one they replaced the stock blade with the M2HS blade, making it a heck of a knife.

They also only made 1000 of each of them. So it's a very nice limited edition with one of the best blades BM has ever made (imo).

You have a very nice knife there. :)
