Kin to cjr7, we've joined the Becker obsession over the past few months and are quickly completing the collection. I love the forum. I love the knives. The sheath is a different story. I read about the knife becoming dull. I didn't care. I can touch up an edge fairly quickly. In fact, I never even paid much attention to the problem with my 11. New arrival is 14. Now I'm just annoyed by the problem. I will give away my new sheath shown below. New aftermarket kydex is on the way. Send me a message if you'd like it.

That's my #1 favorite song ever..I had to mute your video after 3 seconds. I hope u didnt talk later LOL

Other then the desecration of an AC~DC classic...pretty nice vid, clear, concise...to the point. No whining about the sheath, just a demonstration of it's shortcomings.

Was that a factory edge on the 14? Or did u touch it up before the vid? I wish my 14 was that sharp when it arrived.

BTW..welcome to the madness.

So sorry, I should have previewed the generic youtube AC~DC song before adding it... You're right. It was horrible. I've replaced it with something less offensive. Great video reply though!

14 has factory edge. For now. Onto a bit of intro:

The P.B. (Pre-Becker) collection of mine is mainly folders. Special place in my heart for Benchmade and Spyderco. Few fixed blades. I maintained edges with Spyderco Sharpmaker up until the discovery of the Work Sharp a few weeks ago. The convex edge has served me well recently and the ability to touch up a blade to hair shaving sharpness on the way out the door to work (~ 30 seconds) is incredible. I still use strop and polishing compound.

Dude, the black latex gloves with that elevator music creeps me the flock out! :D
I was just waiting for you to turn the camera around to your victim, strapped to a gurney with a gag ball in his mouth.

That said, welcome. I like the username.

Not that I actually have a use for it, but if no one that does (have a use for it) wants it, I'll take it.

I think it's a conspiracy between Ka-Bar, The Bilderberg Group, and various aftermarket sheath makers.
