Man oh man. The more I use this LE and beat the crap out of it, scratch it, and strop it, the more I love it. Might just be the best fixed blade on the market. I love my BAEII too, but haven't had the chance the use the crap out of it next. Hopefully on the next camping trip! The SOB cut the shit out of my finger last week and really bonded. 6 hours to stop the bleeding. Not sure if I'll have feeling in this finger tip ever again! Zigged when I should have zagged. But man, what an awesome blade!

...Maybe you should change your bottom sigline in red...? :D:D LOL

It was the first Busse I was willing to pony up the coin for. I used to have an aversion to large blades but now I'm an addict like the rest of this forum. It's still my favorite despite all the others I've acquired but I do hate the brick pattern it got saddled with.

Love the SOB !!!!

Needed a pic :-)

Also a big fan of the SOB. It's the one I use more than any other. I also prefer mine without the bricks.

The pointy SOB :-)

I really like my SOBCG. I sold all my Bussekin and handed off my active orders last year, and the SOBCG is the one i decided to buy back.

It's been a part of what I carry since I got it back:

Looks just how I was picturing mine. What handle material is that? Think the bricks could be smoothed out without removing the coating?

The handle on mine is black paper. The original owner did 99% of the work removing the brick pattern. I just did a little wet sanding to get the very last little bit of a few lines out of it and then I put it to a polishing wheel to give it a glossy finish.
