Looks gorgeous! Thanks for sharing the pic.

Your Ratweiler looks weird, though. There's too much coating left on it.

Waiting untill i perfect my Sharpening skills on my RMD ,Though i may not touch it for a while ,looks good when i open my Safe .
Itching to Tryout my M6 though will be going for a Hike this weekend and will have fun with it

The M6 is kicka$$, isn't it?! It's built like a tank and easy to wear on the belt; Almost unnoticable:thumbup:

Great ideas, fishbudda! Both on hiking with some serious SR-101 and on getting your sharpening skills honed before resharpening your 'Weiler.

The M6 didn't seem to get the press most other Rats get, but I like mine an aweful lot, too.

Mine's a Muddy! Yes, I'm so simple that a dark brown Teflon-based coating on a world class knife makes me want it. :o

Having two RatManDus coming(black/black,grey/black),because after seeing them appearing here over the last weeks I fell in love with the Mandu and had to have one at least, they seem to me the almost perfect EDC allround fixed carry bades. But recently the M6 caught my eye and is suddenly crying the "take me-take me" howl out loud at me:p .Funny, because since it emerged first it striked me always as too unbalanced somehow.Like someone here wrote:"...like the beginning part of a much bigger knive" or similar.Could you guys tell me more about the M6,especially compared to the Mandu as some seem to own both.

Thanks,Alex

Just got my first Rat, an M6 as well. I agree completely with Fishbudda's description. And it's definitly balanced–a forward hold makes the blade feel light, while three fingers rearward makes it feel like a real chopper. A standard grip balances right at the index finger. It seems real heavy duty (weighs just over a pound) and versatile. The differential tempering really appealed to me as well as it should really exploit the steel's toughness. Seems ideal to me. Makes a CS SRK or a KBAR feel like a toy by comparison.

My Gray M6 seems to have thicker scales than my Mini Mojo. Has anyone else noticed the difference? They appear to be "magnums" in comparison to the Mini Mojo scales.
