Love my new Delica but...

So I just got my new Delica 4 but when I open the blade and push forward on the thumb ramp and the blade moves forward. Might not be a big deal but gets annoying. Has this happened to any of you or should i send it back to spyderco? Besides that I love my new delica.

Same here...locks up solid with no play...seems like i have read other instances about this happening before, but not completely sure. Id contact the fine folks at spyderco and ask them what to do...
 
Spyderco suggested sending it back to warranty :grumpy: . I'm pretty upset about it but i guess I have to do it...
 
If this upsets you, return it and get something else that you will be happy with. Here is a quick thread on the matter.
 
My Endura 4 did this. It wasnt serious. I started a similar thread and everyone told me this was typical of lockbacks. However I was surprised a little when I handled a ZDP-189 Endura at a store near my house. It had no play either way. I never had the E4 fail though and totally trust the lock, heck I used for a throwing knife a fews times and the lock did fine. Dumb I know.
