Love my new ZT 0200 and the 0350 I've had for a while, but...

I'm really coming to realize the the pocket clips are lacking. Compared to everything else on the knives the clips seem like an afterthought compared to say the clips on the Sypderco's or Benchmade's I have. Has there ever been any thought on ZT/Kershaw's side to making some sort of upgrade clip for those that are willing to pay for something better?
 
STR makes titanium clips that should fit this or at least a site is selling ones like his. $28. Since I can't be bothered to check if the place selling them is a dealer, Google "titanium clip for zero tolerance"
 
the Clips are identical to the ones on the Rake and Skyline..So I think its more of a way to keep the costs down then a afterthought
 
I don't care about a clip one way or another, it's the other 98% of the knife that usually holds my attention. YMMV...
 
I like the simple design of the clip, it looks a bit military and they are quick and easy to slip into the pocket.
 
ZT clips are my second favorite (STR is my favorite so far)

They're sturdy, simple, discreete, and they just plain work.
 
While I agree they are simple and sturdy I don't find they work as well as they might. I find I have to bend the leading edge up slightly and bend the whole clip to fit a wider variety of pocket edges. Otherwise it's to tight and would wear the material quickly.
 
You guys have to remember who the ZT knives are intended for. Most military gear is made of tough materials. Cordura and all that good stuff. I don't think they are worried too much about the clips eating up material. That being said, I agree they could use some work. Some need to ride lower but I do love the simplicity of the clips that ZT use. They just work, simply put.
 
The clips on the smaller ZT's really don't pose any problems for me. The heavier 300 -303 series I carry in nylon belt sheath.
 
agree that the clips are kind of like a design afterthought given the quality of the blades, but i can't ever see dropping another $25-30 just because it's a "better looking" clip...the originals work, so be it...
 
I actually love the clips, I know unique titanium has 2 versions in ti that are pretty cool.
