Love Olive Micarta Handles...

Sent my Camp Slicer to John for a leather cross draw sheath.
It turned out AWESOME.
I just love this knife. It works outside and in the kitchen as well!!!

I'm rather fond of ebony. But a little micarta and g-10 can be nice too.

I have two coming, a Fin and Feather with Ironwood and the 2013 anniversary knife with maroon micarta. I am very hopeful to see John post pics on Thursday.....

KYEnglish, may I ask what the wood is on the third knife (from right) in your top photo? The one with the "fancy" - ornate pins? that is very nice!

I myself am partial to green canvas micarta, but I do appreciate the various grains and intracacies wood offers.

For some reason my internet connection is havgin a hard time pulling up pictures and I can't remember what i posted, anyone else help him out or tell me what model it is? (weird day so far :s)

every time I see this thread, I wonder what a "love olive" is and how you make micarta out of it?

Thermal fusion and fermentation followed by a proprietary cryogenic filibuster followed by a lackluster glazed polish, that's how we do it here, anyhow.

Love Olive you say?
I think you're looking at it the wrong way vik,it's make a Love Olive out of micarta, not make micarta out of a Love Olive.;)
Here's my two "Love Olives".:p
