LOVE Rekindled?

Do any of you guys have a Busse knife that you negelected for a time, to play with other INFI of course , only to rediscover how awesome it is when you pull it back out to play? I just did that with my BATACSE. I think that my FFBM has been hoggin my time and attention. Oh, and the AK hates to share as well.

And most of you know my soft spot for BATACs. Anyway, I pulled my BATACSE out this morning and am once again overwhelmed with the ergos of the entire knife. It has the best feeling handle out of all the INFI I have tested. Out of all knives I have tested. The slabs and thick spine really fill the hand nicely.

It's thick where it counts and tapers nicely to the edge for some serious slicing. Nice and compact for so much knife.

Just a Pit Bull of a knife. Or a compact tank. I love this thing. I can't wait to get some kydex pants for it to geep it as compact as possible. The perfect URBAN knife IMHO. But that's just me. Behold the BATACSE:

Oh wait, that wasn't the question. I go back to the SHBM and am repeatedly amazed at what a great camp knife it is. Chops well, slices well, handles beautifully.

I also pick up my SJTAC LE from time to time and think, "What a great survival blade."

Funny story... I had gone back and forth on a Busse negotiation with a member here at BFC, FINALLY got to a price we could agree upon, contingent up on a digital picture to verify condition. So the guy PM's me back and says that he can't sell me the knife because, while he was snapping some pics, he "fell back in love" with it and decided he just had to keep it. I was a little miffed at the time, but in retrospect, it was understandable.

I've got some knives in the 'well, I could sell these' pile.

Trouble was, I started playing with one of them last week .

I'll cop, it's one of the DCBB /black G-10 Meaners from the KnobGanza. Sweet knife, but I'm still struggling with G-10 for an EDC handle. I fell in love with the plunge line, and it's .170 thickness. The other Meaner's I have are flat ground fatties:foot: or saber ground variants from the Milliganza. My normal (??) EDC is a Leaner.

Now I've got a sheath on order, will most likely EDC it for a bit. Then decide whether to keep or sell it (with it's new sheath).

Guess the answer is yes, and on a regular basis.


Must be how INFI black holes develop.

For me it's bad... This happens with every Busse I have.

I can't bring myself to sell one unless I have two of them.

Yepper, every time I take my Beloved Hell Razor out of the drawer...for whatever reason! I really love all my Busse knives, but the HR is still tops for me! :thumbup:

I usually carry a Custom Shop AD but will sometimes pull out my DWMS for a change.

I also have a SHe that I have cheated on with a HOGFSH and a FBM. I always end up going back to her though

I did that with a Manix (and deservedly feel like a d0rk for doing so), but not a Busse.

I occasionally run across a Busse knife I had forgotten I owned, or I see a picture on the forums, admire the knife, and then realize, "hey, I have one!"
