So I was fearful of the whole pm2 hype and held out for a long time I own a few spydies and love all of them. But to tell ya the truth I'm not a main streamer so I was on the fence. Well I bought one today and damn I could kick myself in the ass for not doing it sooner. This knife is awesome in every way lock up, tuffness, ergonomics, and sharp as hell out the box wow completely impressed again sad I waited so long.

I was the same way. I thought of the PM2 as way too plain... until I saw a DLC coated version with copper scales... I've been dreaming about it since then. The great part about them being so popular is the incredible aftermarket they enjoy. I'm really hoping to pick one up in the next couple weeks. Do you carry it alone or with another knife?

I've been a spyderco fan for years, but normally carry smaller knives, I just recently decided I need s PM2 as well haha, glad you are enjoying yours!

I waited a long time to get the one I had but in the end it hasn't beat out my SuperBlue Stretch. I traded with the hopes that it will force me to find another in a sprint steel. I've gotten into a thing where I want all my knives to be different steel. Maybe an s110v or Elmax version will find its way to me soon

I went back and forth about getting one because the blade length is just a bit too long for me. But I pulled the trigger on one and it's been my second most popular modern folder for carry ever since.

Firefighterguy the only thing on the whole knife that took me a few to get used to was the lock. And wow after a bit of manipulation I love it. Truly hope you love yours as much as I do mine .

I have about 30 folders, one of each type/model. I don't feel the need for redundancy with them.
Except the Military, I have 2 of them 'cos I like it so much.
But I have 5 Para2's. Say's a lot.

I'm 11 days from getting mine. I have super high expectations for it!

I think it will exceed your expectations. I held out for years before finally getting one last week and other than a few nitpicky personal preference things it is a very very nice knife. I don't think that I am going to turn into the rabid fan that many here are, but I definitely see myself getting one or two more.

Haha fricken Spydercos.

The only knife company that I've owned more then one of the same knife with the same steel even.

That speaks volumes.

Well a day in and I love this knife. Deploys so smooth lock up is tight no side to side and has cut through anything at work I've needed it to quickly and clean. The g10 scales are grippy the pocket clip snug and rides well in the pocket. Can't wait to get this in the woods this weekend while hunting to see how it works skinning squirrel. So happy I finally pulled the pin on buying this knife. I'm sure there will be different variations in my horizon. I'm ordering some Airazona ironwood burl scales in the morning can't wait.

I still haven't picked one up. It's always the next one I'm going to get but somehow always gets bumped. I've handled one and was impressed with the feel, blade shape and the silk on glass deployment, so it's got nothing to do with the design. I'm looking for an outdoor work knife right now to sub off my Manix 2 - maybe it's time?

i have yet to get a pm2, i had a military and loved it, but i keep having to make decisions. I got the manix 2 FFG s30v g10, for around $85. You cant pass that up. I wasnt even really interested in a knife at the time but i knew i better buy that. Then and recently, got the nilakka i have wanted for at least a year. Found out the SB sprint was something i wanted, but with no DF2 SB in stock anywhere and seeing some pop up for near double the selling price on the second hand market, i had to snag my SB stretch when i found one in stock.

I want to expand my sharpening setup and have my eyes on a few other knives as well, one day. I may make one in s110v or something like that i dont have a blade steel of to make the excuse to get one.

I did the same thing and held out on buying a PM2 for a long time. What a mistake! I love mine! I'm sure that one will not be your last!! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1447286940.732740.jpg

PM2 is my go to folder anymore. I've tried everything under the sun and pretty much came to the conclusion that this knife does everything just right for me.
