I just got my large and choiless Boss Jacks!!! They are perfect!!! It will be nice to have thinner ones, but I think the standards are a bombproof, perfect knife. I really like the no choil verion, but I have grown so used to choils that a choiless one will take some getting used to. The balanace of the large choil one is perfect and it feels great in the hand.
(No pics because I am packing for a move, but I think we know what they look like)

The TM fighter is more overbuilt and stout than I expected, but it too is a grail knife!

Hah! You should venture over to the YARD...there's a pretty long thread on all the guys over there using their Wieners :eek:

Congrats on your BOSS Jack and Monkey! My Monkey won the right to stay home with me and get used...the BJ was a little small for my hands.

Congrats on the BOSS Jack and TM. Enjoy them!

I didn't care for the super thin handles on my BOSS Jack at first, but after holding it some more it has grown on me and now feels pretty darn good.
 
Have to agree. I got the choil-less one. Only b/c I hate the huge choil on the Satin Jack.

Now that I have it. . . I almost want the choil. LOL

Honestly, I'll use a no-choil knife more effectively than a choil one. But it's just a habit.
 
been a while since I posted, but I really like the Boss Jack. I hope the Busse crew at the very least offers a cg version. I wish the choil option was more available on other models as this is my first no choil Busse and I love it!! It just replaced a few tweener blades in my lineup. Excellent work Busse and please offer a production version with the no choil option.:)
 
Just bought a Boss Jack from Izhmash this morning, can't wait. I have a SJ LE that i just can't bring myself to use, i always thought it was the perfect knife, now i can beat the Boss Jack!
 
I decided it was too fat for my taste, and just sent mine to a Hog that will appreciate it. Shortest time I've ever owned a Busse.

Bring on the Anorexic BOSS series!
 
Guy, I think you need to start a thread a la Bravado, about the BOSS ABA. We need one BAAAAAAAD!

Wow that was quick!

Mine just hit NH tonight, so it'll be at my house tomorrow afternoon.

I'm going to EDC it except at work, so it's going to see a lot of use!

Mike is your Boss Jack going to be a thrower? If so it should make a good one. :thumbup:
