Can anyone point me in the direction, I'm trying to find a loveless battle knife next to a chute and a wilderness or a wilderness next to a chute etc?

My google fu is failing me. Really appreciate it.

Tin, I do not think you'll find the original Loveless drawings. You can find drawings interpreted by other knife makers.

That is a good link - enjoyable reading. Mr Loveless has very interesting things to say.

is the battle knife an extended version of the fighting knife ? i do not recall seeing one. the closest i have found to templates are the photos in the loveless living legend book. the knives are photographed straight on with no angle against 1/4" graph paper, making it possible to gather dimensions of certain parts.

I posted that on the google books thread

Links and search to that thread do not work for me at all right now.

wkfl, thanks for the link to the Loveless pamphlet. Bob Loveless has had a huge influence on my knifemaking.

Criminy!!!! The Big Bear was $375 in 1972!!!!!!! A Randall Model 14 was $55 at that time and even the Smithsonian bowie was $105.

Guys thank you not drawings though actual photos would just like to see the subtle and not so subtle differences in the finished work

Edit wkfl that is a fantastic resource thank you!
