I had an unexpected opportunity come up three weeks ago which resulted in my adding a second Loveless double-edge fighter to my collection.

The "Dixon Fighter" has always been one of my favorite Loveless designs and a friend, fellow CKCA member and BF foruimite made it possible for me to pick up an extremely nice amber stag example of such.

It even gets better, as luck would have it, the amber stag on the Dixon matches the stag on my New Orleans Special so close that one would think they were made together as a set.

And yes, I will use it. Use it to bring me enjoyment as a collector. ;) :)

As always, thank you in advance for your comments and interest.

Here's the specifications:

Over All Length ~ 11"
Blade Length ~ 6"
Handle Material ~ Premium Amber Samber Stag
Tang/Blade Steel ~ ATS-34 Stainless
Guard Steel ~ 416 Stainless
Sheath ~ Loveless Made Signed Fighter Sheath
Photography ~ Jim Cooper

Here's a photo along with my NO Special for comparison:

one mint Loveless and one that you really enjoyed... Nice!!

All the best,

Kevin, not only are they "perfect" they do indeed look as they were made as a set.

Kevin,

Congratulations on getting a Loveless "Dixon Fighter", that is a beautiful knife. It matches your New Orleans special very well.

And yes, I will use it........

You had me a little scared there, I though that you were going to take up knife fighting. :)

Jim

Thats beautiful. I like the swell on the stag, it looks a little thicker then your previous one.

What a treat. Usefulness is serving a need. We all need enjoyment, or this wouldn't be fun. :)

I loved this knife. VERY stout in hand. Deep craggy character, too.

GREAT score Kevin, CONGRATULATIONS!

Your choice of words makes me think you have been watching too many "sensationalists":D

Way to Go Kevin. Beautiful knives!! After you christen it, A pass around would be great so we all can experience Using a Loveless knife:D

Nice score Kevin. Great match to the Orleans. Are you planning some strolls through seedy neiborhoods? It will be handy in case of a knife fight. Trying to think of how to use it besides that.

Beautiful Kevin and i know they will bring you tons of enjoyment. And knowing they would work in a pinch just makes them that much better.
