Man, what is my best option for a Loveless drop point?

I am not thrilled with the curent Cabelas Baretta offering, but I have wanted one FOREVER.

I'll trade my left testicle for one (hell, I ain't using it) or are there any custom makers at a reasonable price?

I'm thinking of trading my Gerber BMF or selling a kidney or something.

Yeah that is WAY too much. Not that it isn't worth it. But I would have a hard time using it.

What is the most realistic copy in a user budget? I don't know, maybe $200 or so?

Get the Cabela's Beretta. It is under your budget amount, and I have handled them, and they are a fairly good clone. They do feel good in the hand. :)

The last time I checked, Al Mar had a pretty decent clone too, but it's been a while.

[UPDATE: Just checked out the Beretta Loveless. They have one less of them in stock now. Dang!]

I would call Jack Jones in Ripley, Mississippi
He can talk to you about one, he made me a Loveless Chute Knife to Loveless specs and I have a drop point coming.

.......I've got one too, and the Beretta is a good performer. Moki makes these...fit and finish is impressive and they do wonders with 8AUS. If you don't need "fancy" Beretta's budget zytel model makes a great "user".

Bob Loveless designed and authorized these so they have the all the feel and balance of his drop point classic. I picked up my Quince Burl model off of eBay for about $99 plus shipping. PM me if you want details.
