wow that is a thick tang! Is it stepped on the sides below the guard?

Fantastic looking knife man, I'm generally not super into this style of knife, but I'm liking this one a lot:)

Thanks Lorien!

No, it's not stepped ... the ricasso area is the same stock thickness (1/4"), just rounded. This knife is very light for it's size, stock was removed under the subhilt and all the way up to the front guard -weight is at 15 oz according to my postal scale. So although it may look like a significant slab of steel, it is very light in the hand.

I gotta say that your work is as good as Coop's photos......:D

Man, it just doesn't get much better than that....unless Bob would have made it hisself and then it could be up for discussion! ;)

Wonderful............there is something about those knives that just makes you want one!!!!!!!!

Nice job!!!!:D

Smooth, Slim and Lite I'd love to hang onto that one.

I've been bitten by the Loveless bug. I'm on my second hunter style knife, and working on a Chute. Studying all the pics I can find on the net ( Coop your collection is great very helpful)

I'm wondering what size wheel is used for the hollow grind, I'm sure it varies and I'm not ready for a knife like this one, but for the hunter, Chute and NY special would keep me busy for quite a while.

I have a 10" and 2" but thinking maybe an 8" for the hunter, and a 4" for the Chute, just guessing.

Thanks

Mark Behnke
