Thanks to a collector who has been challenging me with periodic orders for Loveless designs, I have been forced to try some new styles. I have made Loveless Chutes, a wilderness, and dropped hunters, but this is the first Jr. Bear I have attempted. The combination of nice stag and COOP's excellent work resulted in a nice presentation. I hope to complete some more firsts in the Loveless genre, perhaps a Big Bear next. I have enjoyed viewing Loveless interpretations/copies of other excellent makers on this site also and look forward to more of the same.

Thanks to COOP, I am also being challenged to attempt photo postings on this forum, as tech challenged as I am.

This knife is comprised of a 5 3/4" CPM 154CM blade, 416 guard/subhilt, and amber stag. Silver soldered joints. 10 3/4" OAL.

Schuyler, that is a great looking Jr. Bear.

The Chute knife you showed me at Blade last year was as clean as can be and it looks like this one falls right in line.

Thank you for letting us see your work.

Take care

^^^ Charles knows.

Schuyler takes CLEAN to the topmost level. He adds a bit of his own style into this, too: The ricasso flats have a perfectly executed rubbed/satin finish, which is characteristic of most of Schuyler's work.

This week has been exciting for subhilt RWL designs!

Thank you for the comments.

Charles, I always enjoy seeing your work presented.

David66, to answer your question, the guards are mirror polished.
