Another tick in my 'want to make one' box. :)

This is a scaled down Loveless style dropped hunter with a brass tang.

Blade is 3 1/4" 0-1, tapered tang and guard are brass, red liners, and a couple of Loveless bolts I've had kicking about for a few years (I've never been a fan of them visually, due to the mark left where the thread is ground down)

The handle was originally brown canvas Micarta, but after a slight operator error on the drill press, they became Tufnol.

Thanks for looking.

Ian, That's very nicely done. I don't think I've ever seen the wrapped tang before. I'm with you on the Loveless bolts, as there are much nicer options (in my opinion).

That’s superb....it’s proportions are such that it looks like it could be much larger.

Hopefully you have some of these available for purchase in the future. Beautiful knife!

Thanks for sharing that!

Now see, those old-style Loveless bolts are maybe my favorite thing on that knife. A very classic look. I wish more Loveless-style makers used them today. Just goes to show . . . DSFDF!

Thanks.

Couldn't agree more regarding DSFDF. Not too many people these days like brass, but I love it.

Thanks for taking time to comment. As always, it's very much appreciated.

Ian.
