Loveless Style Recommendations?

I picked up a copy of "Living on the Edge" and have been reading up on Bob Loveless and his knives.
His Bauhaus philosophy of form follows function appeals to me and I realized that the very first knife I ever bought (many years ago) was a Loveless Drop Point style hunter.

With the prices that his knives command I thought it would be a good start to buy a Loveless "clone" instead. But I am interested in a high quality user knife like Bob set out to create rather then a lower quality imitation that looks okay but may not perform well.

With these parameters in mind which knife makers should I be investigating for who are preserving and extending the Loveless approach?

Jim Merritt and Michael Lovett would seem the easy answer but their prices appear to be in Loveless territory.
Any other suggestions?

i have knives from some very good makers who folow Loveless's style (S. Johnson, C. Vestal, J. Young, M. Lovett, etc). But two I'd recommend for price and value are W. Davis (like this, my favorite user):

And Tim Hartman - Here are a few I've had from Tim: First, a caper finn:

The really great thing is that a good knife from either of these guys will usully run around $300. I don't know anyone else who makes that good a Loveless pattern for anything near that money.

You can also check the for sale my makers sub forum, TK steingass posts his knives often and does really awesome loveless style knives..
but you can also find several makers who produce renditions of loveless knives because he was so influential in his aesthetics

heres one taken from TKs website, as I recall they usually run in the $200+ price range...

There's quite a few knifemakers who make high quality Loveless style knives in a varity of price ranges.
Thad Buchanan is one towards the top of the list who hasn't been mentioned.

Lot's of good makers have already been mentioned, here is one more for the list with some poor photo's (taken by me) of my babies made by Peter Del Raso

Bill Ankrom does some terrific Loveless style knives, medium price range. Pictured are hunters I've owned but his fighters/chutes are as nice.

Another maker who wasn't mentioned is Wayne Clay . He's be making them probably 30 years or more . John Denton who is a Loveless dealer had one of Wayne's engraved drop points I picked up about 4 years ago & it is really nice . John usually doesn't do Loveless knockoffs so that says a lot about Wayne's work . His knives sell for about the same price as Bill Davis '

Here is a few I own from Rob Brown.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
These are exactly the kind of knife makers I was looking for.
