Hey All..
This knife has been in my collection five years or so.. The scales are somewhat unique due to their texture.
I sent it to Sam Alfano shortly after I got it. He deeply sculpted the bolsters in an elegant design which includes gold dots.. Schuyler is one of my favorite makers, and I was lucky to recently add a beautiful guardless fighter, and a older boot knife to the fold.. Hope you enjoy this one.. Best, Rich

Yes, the ivory is both beautiful and unique. Nice engraving too.
What's the over all length?

It would be nice to see the knife from a few different angles, but it does look very good from the angle shown. That is fantastic ivory.

Splendid knife; outrageous ivory in both color and texture. Guardless knifes are gaining favor with me. Schuyler's work has also caught my eye. One of his subhilts, his aeronautical rendition of Loveless, is one of my all time favorite fighters.

The whole package is very much to my taste!

All the best,

Hi Rich,

An absolutely stunning knife, buy two of the MOST sought-after masters in their field. Schuyler's backlog is in years, and, Sam Alfano??? Incredible you were able to get in his queue.

Beautiful display. Any other views would be informative, but this ONE shot tells me all I need to know. Great photo.

I agree Coop, especially in that the single photo depicts all I need to see.
The exception would be if I were considering this knife for purchase or serious critique.

I was wondering who took the photo, as it's pretty good and I assume by an amateur since the photographer is not identified on the photo.

(Kevin... the photographer is Rich himself. He's creeping up on me.... ! :p )

Exactly. More views would be needed for the sale. But ever see a GORGEOUS woman and wish you could see more of her? The allure leaves me wanting....

Les sells Schuyler's work. Couple of nice hunters and a fighter for sale now. What he does to Loveless style handles is remarkable, transforming them into anti-gravity neo-classics.

He is another maker that gets little press around here, presumably because he is not ABS sanctioned. No knock on ABS, but skilled makers are where you find them, ABS or not. Thanks, rbslaughter1, for putting some dessert on the menu.

Thanks to every single one of you for your comments. You know how it is for us "knife guys", when cleaning and wiping down our collections. There are always a few pieces that you hold on to, and examine again like the first day we unzipped the case.. This has been one of those knives for me..

Kevin, I'm at a loss to explain why I didn't post the spec's with the photo. Lame... Blade is ATS 34, mirrored with satin flats. OAL just shy of 8.5" Thanks for pointing out the oversight..

Coop, getting a nod on a photo from you always makes my day.. Appreciated more than you know.. Thanks all...Rich

:thumbup:that is a very unique piece , excellent score

Ken, then perhaps you could post some examples of non-ABS pieces. ;)

That's so true Rich. Thanks for sharing this piece.
