I would like to know more about Mike Lovett's knives, but haven't been able to access his web site or get much information. How about posting some pictures of his work, and your comments about the knives. Thanks, Bill Jones.

Thanks ThreeWorlds! This link works great. Now, if you can get the waiting period waived, we're in business. Bill

I have one of Mike's City Knife and it is my all time favorite knife. Mike and Ms. Lovett are great to deal with and he does flawless work. I recommend you place your order regardless of the waiting period; it will be well worth the wait.

Place the order regardless, the wait is worth it :)

Mike's work is perfect. My experience mirrors Don's, Mike and Manuela are fantastic folks.

One of the benefits of getting older is gaining patience. Long waiting lists don't deter me if it's a knife I want from a maker I admire. I agree with what the others have said - get on the list - it may be long, but at least it is still open.

Yes, patience is the secret to a great collection. Whether it be patience in waiting on a maker's list or patience in waiting for the special piece rather than buying on impulse.

Good point, Kevin. I feel I have a few special knives in my collection and it's definitely worth the wait. <waiting for you to part with that stag handle Fisk> :D
