Just arrived today.
I don't know what to say about this knife. It may just be the most fun knife I own. I think the big bull's eye pin gives it a slightly whimsical look. The gorgeous wood handle, so typical of Andy's knives, begs to be held. And the diminutive size gives it a toy-like quality.
But don't be fooled. This lil' thing is a cutting beast. I'm biased toward Wharncliffes because of the great cutting power at the tip, and how appropriate a design for this small knife. The two-finger handle is also cleverly formed for different grips and allows for good power transfer despite being short.
My better half seriously eyed the Bow-legged Joe for a while and I thought I might lose it to her mysterious handbag. But since I recently gave her a pink knife, she relented and the Joe is riding comfortably in my pocket now. Still, I'll need to keep my eye on it....
Thank you Andy!!!
