Saved me a ton of walking back and forth from a bedroom at one end of the house to the tool bag at the other end of the house. Or having to drag that anchor into the bedroom and hope I could find what I needed in it.

I had to fix the crank on what I've just found out is an awning window (never bothered to look up the type before) and ended up needing a Phillips head screwdriver, slotted screwdriver (not for a screw, but to slip in between the crank and the window frame to push a part back in place), pliers and an awl (one screw had dried paint in the grooves).

And due to the design of the tool, I was able to extend the reach of the screwdriver by opening both handles, with the pliers still folded inside one handle. Can't do that with a regular screwdriver. It's either long enough or it's not.

Had the two screwdrivers open at opposite ends and was able to just flip the whole thing around when I needed one or the other.

Never truly appreciated how handy this thing could be before today. And I only got it in the first place because it was part of a small lot that included a Delica that I *had* to jump on 'cause there's no way I'm going to find a Delica (or a SwissTool) at that price again in my lifetime.

Yay for multitools.
