Before I found this thing, due mainly to all of your testaments about it, I couldn't sharpen my way out of a wet paper sack. But after watching the video I sharpened about five knives in twenty minutes, and they were better then the guy I paid to do it before! thanks, I love this place

The sharpmaker is an excellent starting point for sharpening.

If you ever encounter somethign really dull, you might find yourself hankering for something with a little more bite than the medium and fine ceramics. Do you own the diamond stones/sleeves?

I love my sharpmaker. A few months after i got it, one of the medium stones fell and hit a concrete floor and split in half. I used it as best i could until it got annoying. Now i use one gray and two white. They don't wear out fast, its been 6 or so years and theyre still going strong. I would like to get a new set so i can have all of my sticks back lol. Ive sharpened anything from scissors to hooks to tools on it.
