Been carrying my cqc-14 for a couple weeks now and its really growing on me.
Been a while since I've owned an emerson, and I don't know why I ever left. I think I decided that I don't like chisel grind's but luckily Emerson now offers V-grind. This knife is built like a TANK. The ergo's in the handle are perfect. Full size handle with legal-friendly blade is such a smart design. I really like BOTH scales being G10. Rock solid lockup. Thumb disk is better than hole or stud. And the freakin wave is simply the most innovative thing to ever happen to folders. Best of all this knife doesn't cost $400

Did I mention I like this knife?

Congrats..I too love the concept of this knife. It's refreshing to have a shorter blade without having to put up with a handle that is too small.

I love my 14 also, but just like by Mini Commander better. The 14 is my go to Seattle knife EDC when I'm over there however due to their 3" max rule.

Im thinking about getting this little tank for my first Emerson! I like the concept of the short blade and full handle.

I just ordered mine yesterday and it should be in my hands within a week. Really looking forward to my first Emerson purchase.

Which model did you order and where did you order yours from? I can't find the black plain edge one at a decent price anywhere.

I ordered the plain edge stonewash/satin directly from Emerson. $225

I didn't get a deal but I searched high and low online before finally making my order. The best part is that they had a couple of them in stock.
