Especially since I ( very amateurishly ) wrapped the handle in 550 cord should make a sick zombie tool now!

Hey Aussie, what's goin' on mate??

Does the poly handle seem to "soften the blows" from your CSTH, and "absorb" some of the energy ment for the target as opposed to say a wooden handled hatchet, with about the same "head weight"??

I mean, if youre goin' to ever use the CSTH to cut down smaller trees, Ive seen vids where the handle warped while chopping.

And don't sweat that 550 cord wrap, thats a great idea for an "emergency cordage" spot, if youre setting up a bush shelter.
