Loving the new Jess Horn!

I don't do any heavy cutting at home or at work (wish I could) so this knife fits my needs so well. I only got it because it's a sprint run ZDP knife, but I ended up liking it far more than I thought. I haven't touched my ZDP Delica since I got the Jess Horn.

It's a good size, it's very light in the pocket (don't even use the clip), and probably the sharpest knife I've ever owned! Not to mention the needle tip! The only other knife I've encountered that has this kind of edge is an Al Mar Hawk. I mean all Spyderco's are stupid sharp, but this is a new level of stupidity. I haven't cut myself yet, but I'd guess that I wouldn't know it until I saw the blood.

Hi Jedi, I never even gave the old Jess Horns a second thought until this Sprint run came out. I can only say "ditto" to all your statements!

I had an old PE Horn that I sold- (like an idiot) & still have a Micarta serrated Horn that I turned into a 'tactical' by bead-blasting the handle & blade after scratching it up by using it in a stone shop. Really liking the design more & more & will try to jump on the sprint of the burgundy Horn.

For the moment at least, the eBay prices are quite reasonable. Measurably less the the fair prices I paid from my favorite knife stores. :p

JediKnight, this truly was a good year for sprint runs. If you haven't tried the BG42 military it truly is another one that hits all the right buttons. I'm not a fan of large folders as much as medium and smaller ones but this one is a true classic. No matter the budget, and with a fleet of engineers I couldn't improve on it one bit. It's that well balanced. Just running my mouth, regards, Joe
