Ron,

I was looking around on the SOG site and spotted the Mini X-Ray Vision with the Low carry clip. What a great idea! Especially after Sept, I think discretion in carry is becoming more important. No one needs to know and it prevents questions and other unwanted attention.

Bye the Bye...a co-worker of mine made a trip to the beer&wine store. Someone called the RCMP because he had a knife in a sheath on his belt . Needless to say it became a bit of a situation. There is no law against carry and no max. length allowable. He got to keep his blade.

This would not have happened if he was equipped with a Mini X-ray.

:D

Keep up the creative thinking!
Cheers,
Gord.

Hi Gord,

The innovators at SOG have done a great job on the new clip for the Mini X-Ray Vision. Not only is it as low a profile as one could want, it is 100% ambidextrous in that it can be reversed to the other side. Not shown in the picture linked above (the knife pictured is a prototype), the clip has ribs on the front side starting at the top and continuing downward for maybe a bit less than 1”. That makes for outstanding extraction capabilities.

I’ve been playing with mine all day long! :)
