Low Rider for my Blur

Hi Steve.

I need a low rider clip, right hand, tip down, for my Blur. Do you need the knife?

I ran across this mod you did on a Lava http://www.clbdesign.info/content/view/42/103/. Would you be interested in doing this on my Lava? I'm really pleased with a similar job you did on my mini Cyclone :thumbup:

I can do the clip for you Fred. I've quit doing those other mods though. I do appreciate the offer but I'll pass. I no longer have a Blur so I'd probably need the knife. I've never made one tip down. I think it uses the Leek clip so if you want to make the measurements like we did before and let me know the fold over point for the 180 we can do it that way. Your call there. In the mail to you. This model has a brown/plum color and it would be nice if you could make the clip approximately that color.

Re tip down - I occasionally carry a knife in my right rear pocket and am uneasy with carrying tip up in that location :eek:
 
Fred I received your folder earlier. Its all done. Took me four tries to get the color as close as I could. The first was too light so I stripped it again and then the second had too much plum/violet color in it. So once more I got close but it was a bit too much gold color so I gave it one more try and it came about as close as I think I'll be able to match titanium to aluminum anodizing. I hope you like it.

If you ever get the urge to do another Blur frame lock mod, this one is ready. Would make a nice companion for the SG2 :D

The knife arrived today. I rubbed a little EEZOX onto the clip and it is a very good match - even better than your pictures.
