Low rider for Stretch II

Hi

Have you done any titanium low rider clips for the Spyderco Stretch II? It uses the same clip as the Delica IV and Endura IV.

I was thinking tip-up.
Since I live in Norway I don't want to ship the knife to the US for fitting:(

I am hoping you have done this before and have a model so you don't need the knife.

I've never done one for that knife but I have for the Delica 4 and Endura 4 many times each.

On copying a clip I can do that but without the knife I don't know where to make the fold over so the clip could fall way short on the ability to sink the knife or it could overhang off the knife without my knowing where to do it.

Also, with the knife in hand I can sometimes manipulate the clip around the lanyard hole and this is often times an issue on smaller knives where I've found that an add on low rider and the lanyard hole do not get along well. If you can let me know how much space is between the top of the folder at the very end and the very middle hole for the clip now it can help.

I might can tell a little from pictures to help. Mailing to Norway is going to add $11 to the cost for you. Thats the cheapest way I can mail using Priority mail that will get there within a reasonable amount of time. I can mail it air mail but some have taken 6 weeks to show up before doing that and its still $7 to do that. Just FYI.

Hi STR, thanks for the quick reply.

It can be shipped to a friend of mine in the US so shipping is no problem.

I'm looking at getting a clip from you for the upcoming G10 Delica as well so if the fit isn't perfect for the Stretch it isn't a biggie:)

Yep its just as I suspected. Its a short distance to the end so its a fairly short fold over point. I knew it probably would be since that clip has the lanyard built into it. My clip will effectively cover up your lanyard hole.

If you don't use it, and it seems most don't, then its no big deal. If you do use the lanyard it can be a big deal and you'll have to decide which you want more a low ride clip or a lanyard.

Problem is I don't have the clip to copy the hole pattern for but next one I get I can make one for you to prevent the knife from having to be mailed out. It may be a few but I'll make note and see if we can't get you squared away.

STR: No problem if it takes a while. I don't use the lanyard hole except on a Salt or two, so no problem covering it up:D

I'll take 2 clips with shipping to the US. I'll send an e-mail to confirm.

Spyderco have been kind of late with delivery lately... :( Thought it would go out to you ages ago..

Looking forward to getting it with the new clip:D
