Knives with the Spyderco barrel clips are problematic. I did one and it was so thin I decided it was the last one. I don't trust them. In order to fit that barrel in the hole that is needed to tighten it down it required making the clip either excessively wide or exceptionally thin weakening it.
The only way to really do one would be to drill and thread new holes in the FRN handle. I've done that and it has worked but I always advise that folks asking for low riders mounted in FRN, Micarta, G10, or Carbon Fiber with no liner of metal or titanium to follow three simple rules of thumb.
1) Never over tighten the screws. Doing so will surely weaken or strip the threads
2) Never use loctite or super glue on the threads. Doing so will surely weaken or strip the threads the first time you do take a screw out after doing this on these materials.
3) Don't make a habit of taking the clip on and off. Doing this can weaken the bite of the threads and it can increase the chances for a cross thread to weaken them as well.
I do have a standard work order form in my Low Rider clip and mailing instructions sticky thread that would need printed and mailed with the folder if you wish to proceed. All info needed to get me a work order is there.
Thanks for asking and I hope that answers your question.
