Hey BIRDOG, We got some Wood's In Eastern Nebraska, It's In Central Nebraska and out West where they Burn Buffalo Chip's "Instead of Wood" !
I checked out the History on the Line of Bird Dog's Ol Pete's out of they have an Interesting History http://www.drummersglen.com/historyoftherymansetter.html I'll do some more research on the Line though, We have Woodcock & Grouse here In Nebraska but this Is Pheasant Country ! I'll bet Pete would "Like Them " ? Keep us updated on any New Hawk's !

I often forget to take pictures before they leave :-)
My goal in life is to kill a wild turkey with a hawk . I've come close but not close enuff. A setter is a big help as they learn to pin them in the brushpiles.
The Ol Hemlock line was developed by George Bird Evans, a really great writer of birdhunting books. I'm sure he's cringing, lookin' down from heaven, when I work these dogs on them big birds:-)
Pete likes all kinda birds!! hehehe
Thanks Stuart!

It has been a few years since I had a bird dog. The setters were my choice and I have yet to see one I didn't like even if they were just pets.

Thanks Andy!
heck, I get busy and forget.
