Just wondering what you guys use to lube your folders to keep them opening smooth. I've been using rock n roll super slick. Any other suggestions?

I've tried several but I like Nano-oil the best.

No need to spend a lot of money.

3-in-One and Mineral oil work just fine. Pharmacy grade Mineral oil is $2/quart and is food safe.

Some swear by synthetic motor oils like Mobil 1.

Froglube is a popular premium CLP that's also food safe.

Had a few knives that I purchased not deploy as fast as I thought they should so I disassembled both, cleaned applied the nano oil and re-assembled. Honestly I could not tell a difference before and after in the action or between the Nano and an everyday 3 in 1 type oil, in fact I just purchased a 2 oz. bottle of Hoppe's gun oil for a quarter of the price of the Nano and again could not tell the difference. I do like the Nano applicator though!

Whatever works, I don't oil most of my knives, they have PB washers for a reason.

Victorinex multi tool oil it is the absolute best lube for price out there I put it on my daily edc carry folder 3 months ago and still lubricating perfectly

This, exactly. I do hoard many lubes, and they are fun to play with. And though there are some differences in lubricity and staying power, they all pretty much do that same thing. A drop of 3-in-One is awesome on a thirsty pivot. But I view the spendy lubes like I do the spendy knives - they are fun, but essentially unnecessary.

I've used hoppes 9 gun grease on almost all my emersons and both striders I've owned and personally I loved it, makes them super smooth. With my microtech it reccomends RemOil on the warranty card and I decided to follow that in case anything happens and I need to send it in. Other than that CRK's grease works fantastically. On a similar note I wipe all my 154cm/CPM154/ATS34 blades down with EEZOX due to noticing small spots on a Cqc-7 after jogging in the winterish months. Never had an issue since, and EEZOX lists itself as a lube so I imagine it would work fine for that as well as (I'm pretty sure) It's food safe.

I only use Nano-Oil products: 5 weight in (semi-) automatic knives & brand new folders i don't want to disassemble (it penetrates fantastically and evaporates after some time, leaving the nano material behind), 10 weight for most other folders as well as heaps of other contraptions, 85 weight mostly on Sebenza's for that hydraulic feel, and red Nano-Grease on heavier stuff.
I've used lots of other products through the years in various jobs, and so far this stuff performs both the best & the longest.

Since a few years Nano-Oil is even in our car (both in the engine & the transmission) and mileage has gone from 1 liter in +/- 12,5 km to 1 liter in +/- 15 km.
Still rather thirsty of course, but the effect is noticeable.
