Hey everyone!

I was looking for lube or oil recommendations for my folding pocket knife. Right now I'm carrying a Kershaw Skyline and was wondering what's a good lube to buy! Thanks in advance :)

I use Nano-Oil on all of my pivots, it works very well.

There are a multitude of threads on the subject as well if you run a quick search.

I've read great things about nano oil, and have some on the way. With that said, I've used Lucas gun oil in the past and it does a fantastic job.

Nano Oil.

If you don't want to spend the money for the Nano Oil, then Weapon Shield.

Militec-1 is very slick, but sucks for rust prevention. Nano Oil is just as slick or slicker, and does much better at rust prevention.

So... Nano Oil.

Tried some SUPERLUBE oil in one of my knives, a noticed decrease in friction. It's a synthetic oil with Teflon which also happens to be FDA approved.I am also using their grease with Teflon, on machine parts and there is a definite decrease in friction, and signs of wear.

I use FrogLube, very good stuff. Protects from rust, lasts awhile, comes in both a grease and a liquid depending on your tastes and is food sale as well. The BIGGEST plus to me is that it smells very minty!

Hoppe's #9 gun oil is ok. I use it on my ZTs and haven't had any issues. It's cheap too, even here I. Canada.
