How do you guys lubricate your Delica's, etc
that have zytel handles? Especially after coming out of the dishwasher, as suggested in other postings.

After mine comes out of the dishwasher, I just put a drop or two of Break Free in the pivot. That seems to be all it needs.

I don't have a Delica but on my Endura and my Wife's Dragonfly I use a Tuf-cloth on the blade and a couple drops of Tuf-glide on the pivot.

I'm with MM, Tuf-Glide works really well on these types on handles.

I use Tuf-glide on the pivot also, but I rather oil the rest of the blade with REM Oil. Marine Tuf cloth is okay, but I don't care for the dull finish it leaves your blade looking afterwards. The only down fall with using REM Oil is I usually wipe it down after oiling, if I don't pocket lint adheres to the blade.

I used to use Silicone Spray in the past, but this too will collect lint on the blade. Does make the blade very slick, though!

I use a military grade lube on my knives.
The stuff is called PRO-LUBE an has a military grade # VVL-800C. Great stuff for
knifes since it is a non corrosive, less
runny than REM-OIL and I belive it is not flammable. We (the shop I'm in) use it mostly
on our sewwing machines. It will say it's for automatic weapons on the spraycan. I used to use a oil called TEF-LUBE(?),but was more trouble than it was worth.
Thought you would like to know,
