i am trying to find out what materials can be used when making a pivot/some kind of bearing for a turntable arm and similar stuff. is talonite or stellite good for this? how is the lubricity compared to phosphor bronze or teflon?

I have used hardened mirror polished 440C in high abrasion applications against phenolic wheels and it has outlasted several sets of wheels. If teflon or graphite loaded bushings were used as well the life would be exceptional.
