Luciano from Brazil just passed his cutting portion of the JS test. He cut 15 wood 2x4's and 6 ropes with his last rope being after all the 2x4's. The proud mother is doing fine.

Ari, yep thats him, I just could remember how to spell his name right then.

No surprise to me; I think he could pass the Mastersmith test right now too.

Luciano and his friends are turning out some wonderful work - Congratulations!

That is great to hear, Jerry!
I knew he was that talented on the moment I saw his work for the first time, back on the 2000 SPKS. Of course, the next is Rodrigo, and I can bet anything that he will make it.

Luciano cannot go for his workmanship judging until next year due to the date on which he joined. He just wanted to knock out the cutting portion which he did very well.
Ricardo Vilar is the only Brazilian that will be going for his JS judging portion this year.
