Thought I would share with you all. A 2005, 3 knife Set 1 of 50 Very few Sold as set unfortunately, Started with the Kalinga as 1 of my Favorite Bucks and could not resist the Scales as Had not seen before, the Kalinga arrives and then a Little research and find it is 1 of 3 knives in a set. As Luck would have it Buck Custom 916 in Giraffe Bone available as custom order then wait for a 976 Dagger to show up somewhere, could be years but have waited 5 plus years if need be before for a Knife. 916 going to set me back near 500 so not so happy but available, decide to contact person who sold the Kalinga and inquired if he was going to get rid of any more buck knives and he said only had 4 others he would let me know, he said he had a buck 916, 976, 921, and a 192 that was all he had, asked if he could check the model # on the 916,976 and if they started with a B and MT3-0 after he said yes and agreed to sell the other 2 as he did not realize they where a set, so luck on my side. Moral of the story is if you do not ask you will never know what the answer would have been. I asked, and the answer was exactly what I wanted to hear. These Sets where available with 4 Handle Variations with 100 of each knife in all sets except Giraffe Only 50 of each Knife Made in the Variations as follows
401 Kalinga
916 Bowie
976 Dagger
And available in 4 different handle materials.
-MT Elk= searching
-MT1 Buffalo Horn=searching
-MT2 Ironwood=searching
-MT3 Giraffe Bone= (Complete with Boxes)

A Few Photo's of the MT3 Set with an extra Blade he had laying around a WBC B921-Sp1-0 #86 He did not have many Buck knives But Boy Did I Love the One's he Did Have

Great find, you must of had karma, it might have been difficult completing the set otherwise. Preston
 
Nut, that is a Great find. Glad you got them. If I were you, I'd run out and buy a lottery ticket while luck is still with you. DM

Yes Strong Believer in Karma pjsjr and she remembers me once in awhile, always follow my dads advise as when younger he taught me if you do not know something do not be afraid to ask as that way you will get an answer may not be the answer you want but you will get an answer 1 way or the other
