Here is one of the better villagers of the bunch. It is 14 inches and weighs about 1 pound. The fit is okay and the finish is unusually good for a villager. Hardness is about 57-58 Rc -- pretty tough little knife. Nice saatisal handle. The karda and chakma, though small, are pretty good and will do some work. Scabbard and frog made at BirGorkha and are quite nice but not up to the quality of the sarki with no name.

Since it seemed to work pretty well last night, let's put that Sunday K-Mart special price on this one of $49.95 delivered to your door.

Call or email if interested.

I saw this one first. That will be a nice little size to use around the farm. Send it my way, Uncle Bill.

And if the e-mail time stamps aren't in the same order, send it to the guy who actually has a farm to use it on.

Hey tulsamal,
It's a beaut, but I'm glad it was you that beat me on this one - I was trying to post and some new software I installed kept failing - you beat me by a hair! Hope this makes up for that Gelbu Special

I have good news. I have about 4 or 5 of these 14 inchers that are almost identical and obviously made by the same kami. Scabbards and frogs are made by BirGorkha and just about equal in quality so Gregg, I am sending you the one pictured here and, James, I am sending you a twin brother.

Actually, I have another set of twins if anybody else wants one.

I am surprised we have such fast mouses on Sunday!

i'll take it

Great! Thanks, James, for being so generous. I have three big k's now and none of them are being used. The first one was just too big and heavy to get through anything and the last two (including that $75 18" Sirupati) were just too darn nice to mess up. I've got to actually start using one someday before the wife cuts me off. It's hard to explain buying something if you refuse to take it outside once you get it!

Tilt!! I found one more like above -- full tang version like the one in the picture. I though I'd sold them all.

I also have a couple that LOOK identical but they are not -- have only partial tang which will lead to problems somewhere down the line. You can pin now or epoxy later. These models will go for $39.95 because of partial tang -- everything else looks and is the same.

You know the story. Call or email.
