So I went to a local outdoor sporting goods store that has a decent knife selection. A few months ago I found a Pioneer Settler there, on sale!
This time I asked if they had any random Alox SAKs in the back. They must be very disorganized bless their heart. So this time I open a box marked Pioneer and what do I find? A "02" Soldier. Score. I had lost the other Soldiers I owned as a kid and didn't realize I needed one until after they were discontinued. They sold it to me for the price on the box, normal retail for a Pioneer. Made my day. I think I will go back and ask a different employee to check and see if I strike "silver" a third time.
Will post pics later today.

Oh and I forgot I have an Alox Bantam and silver Farmer on the way too. Now I really want to collect all the Alox SAKs I can.

Not sure if the forum rules allow quoting prices. Let's just say it was what one would spend on a Pioneer.
Just as I am typing this the two other Alox knives I bought on the Bay. New silver Farmer and new silver Alox Bantam arrived by mail.
Three new silver beauties in one week!
These Alox SAKs are about the only knife purchase I can't resist these days.

No worries. I have a general idea on what you paid.

Congrats on getting your Farmer and Bantam in. A lot of people find the one layer alox to be to thin especially in the 84mm size, but I don't mind them. I actually am quite fond of the one layer 84mm's for light cutting.

I love how thin the Alox Bantam is. It will disappear into a pocket. Now I need an Electrician and some of the harder to find Alox SAKs like Pioneer Pruner, Rancher etc.

You most definitely do. The Harvester and Rancher are both discontinued if memory serves me correctly so get them sooner than later.

Just to tempt you a little bit here is my Harvester I take fishing with me. I pair it with a Vintage Fisherman as well.

To tempt you even more here is one of the Limited Runs of the Harvester. 41 of 50. Black alox Old Cross.

Alox is great. Victorinox really should make more alox models available. But I can understand that they're probably an expensive line of products to maintain; most people want a SAK with cellidor scales anyway.
