18 inch 28 ounce WWII by Bura. Art did something to this knife but I can't remember or see what. It looks mint to me but take it for 1/2+shipping = $85.

Very nice 18 inch 23 ounce Chitlangi by Kumar. Unusual chiruwa handle. 10/10 rig. Delivered to your door for an even $100. UBBB

Here's a fine katana by Bura with decorative horn scabbard. 36.5 inchesw and 37 ounces. The tang failed and Art welded it back so it's better than new. For some reason unknown to me the kamis have a worse time with the tangs on swords than they do khukuris. Not sure why. The blade won't quite seat into the scabbard -- about 1/2 inch too long for some reason. Take this work of Art for $195 -- $150 off regular.

Grreat 16.5" 24oz, Chiruwa style with finger grips WWII by Kumar. 10/10 rig. Yours today for an even $100.

Whoever said Friday the 13th was unlucky.

Call or email.

Here's the WWII pic:
(and I already emailed so hands off!)

edit: Uncle's on the case :D

Wow, love those finger grooves. Mpisi--please let us know how you like them. Uncle Bill-- is this going to be a standard offering?

Wow! Neat stuff today!
So now we know what at least some of the finger-groove knives were in those action pics.

The ring looks more rounded than most.

Ooo! Ooo!
Ahwww....
Big Sigh.
Not this month.

Forgive me for being cheeky but that top UBDOTD looks more like an AK (Fuller) than a WWII !

Am I hallucinating ??

Don't forget the chiruwa-chitlangi - that's the first one of those I have seen.

Brendan, if you're hallucinating then we've been drinking from the same well, it looks like an AK to me too. Could be just a trick of the light on the fuller bit, but there's something about the shape of the blade as well that caused me to think it was an AK as soon as I saw it.

Sarge

LOL! of course that katana comes up right after I scrounge for the Dui Chirra. Someone grab that up before I drown my sorrows in gin.

It's OK. I've always been a good shoulder to cry on;) . I just got the Berk or I'd like that one, too. Now I must save up for my dream..the Kothimoda and Dankuta.:D

On second thought.... no must be good, must be good, must be good...
