lucky in s35vn not XHP

I'm very confused too. The blade says cold steel. Says Italy. And says s35vn. My guess its a fake.

zito, did you buy from a reputable dealer? Hopefully the Cold Steel rep will chime in here. If the dealer won't exchange it I would imagine you would have to send it in to CS.

We don't appreciate the profanity.

As for the OP, perhaps they did a limited run of knives in S35VN or maybe they have changed steels? Maybe the Mod will chime in on this.

Hi
The Lucky is changing over from XHP to s35VN. The website should reflect that, but older copies of the catalog may still say XHP
It's a rolling change across that series
Thanks

I think what we need to take away from this is that Cold Steel is continuing to improve its product line and positioning itself to be a serious player.

I, for one, would be most happy to see Cold Steel make more knives in S35VN and S30V.

Just curious, why the change in blade steel? It seems early in the production run. Thanks.

Dunno, S35VN isn't that big an improvement from XHP. I'll pretty cheerfully take either. I would like to see them use some M4, but I'm pretty sure that's just wishful thinking on my part.

Hi, how would you compare the two steels, what difference would a user see?
