I preordered a "Microtech Zombie Green Socom Delta Manual 4" Satin Plain Blade" from a certain knife seller. This is a new product yet to be released from Microtech since they are currently only selling the tanto version of the Delta Zombie Tech.
When I preordered the price was at $260 which seemed like a really good deal for a limited edition Delta, since the standard versions go for ~$330. When I looked yesterday the price for the same item was at $355 on their site. I confirmed through email that I'm still locked in at the $260 price when it ships.
I know the tanto deltas were selling for around that price for a while, sometimes as high as $300. They had Elmax steel I believe. What would cause the price of the non-tanto versions to shoot up to $355? Maybe they were informed by Microtech that they were using a different blade steel that would up the price after they already took preorders?
