I am very pleased to finally share this photo...It had been tucked away until the fate of this knife was decided, but now that I'm officially the new owner of this beautiful, one-and-only, Lum/Begg Collaboration, I guess it's ok to share the eye-candy!
This is one of the knives that was on Bob's bench when he passed, and Todd was asked to finish it. I love the way it came out...at a glance you can see both maker's hands in this piece, Bob's unmistakable and infamous Tanto Blade, with Todd's Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber Bolstered handle job, and hand satin finish on all parts steel. This is just a beautiful knife, and I am extremely pleased to be the first owner.
This piece was recently auctioned by Jean Lum to benefit US Veterans.
