I received the 2 Lum Chinese folders I ordered today. The knives garnered high praise and I thought since I had the chance I should grab 2. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice little knife and the ZDP-189 seems like a real cutter. I had planned on EDCing one and putting the other away but I am thinking of off loading the 2nd one to get a Bradley Alias I which looks to be more in my comfort zone. I like it enough to keep one but I am having a hard time putting one away just in case. I like a little bigger more robust feeling knife, it is just personal preference.

Am I making a mistake?

The Lum Chinese is dead sexy! It is one of those knives that will grow on you the more you use it. Everyone has different taste though, and if you don't like em, you don't like em :D

With knives, I don't think you can make mistakes. As long as you are doing what you want with them. I mess with knives to enjoy a functional hobby and learn. If a knife isn't for you dump it and don't look back :D
